May is Miworth FireSmart Month and the Committee. The kickoff is always the Canada Wide Wildfire Preparedness Day.

During May residents are encouraged to undertake FireSmarting Tasks.

  • one per property allowed per day

  • pile not to exceed 6’ long x 6’ wide x 4’ deep

  • cut branches to reduce volume—3” branch diameter max
